Terms and conditions

Our terms and conditions aim to give you confidence when buying from Amba Press. By placing an order on this website, you agree to these terms.

About us

This website is operated by Amba Press Pty Ltd (ABN 34 699 379 158), based in Melbourne, Victoria. You can contact us at hello@ambapress.com.au or on 0414 254 162.

Prices and payment

All prices are in Australian dollars and include GST. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Shop Pay. Schools and organisations can also order with a purchase order number or request an invoice. We may change prices at any time, but changes won’t affect orders already placed.

Orders and pre-orders

Your order is confirmed once payment is received, or once an invoice is issued for school orders.

We only offer pre-orders for books already in production. Pre-orders are despatched as soon as stock arrives. If publication is delayed, we’ll let you know, and you’re welcome to a refund if you’d prefer not to wait.

Shipping, returns and refunds

Please see our shipping and returns page for despatch times, shipping costs and our returns policy.

Your rights under Australian Consumer Law

Our books come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under that law.

Bundles and trade orders

Bundle pricing is for schools, educators and individual customers, and isn’t available to bookshops or distributors. Bookshops and distributors can contact us about trade terms.

All content on this website, including text, images and book covers, belongs to Amba Press or our authors and may not be reproduced without permission.

If you’d like to reproduce material from one of our books, or have a rights or permissions enquiry from Australia or overseas, please contact us.
